Sulaiman has held this VITO position since 2011.
He has a higher diploma in Tourism Management and Hospitality.
He has held various positions in the Travel industry - Inbound , outbound , Marketing Manager, Senior Manager, and has also served as a Sales Manager in the Airline industry.
His 34 years’ experience in Tourism industry as a whole has brought him vast knowledge locally as well as regionally.

roots liberative empowerment
methodologies, social justice, cultural exploration
, organizational analysis and change,
and community development, especially in respect to
practical, implemented operations
and community involvement. The primary organizatio
nal change paradigm/strategic
analysis tool he utilizes for analysis is the
Burke-Litwin Performance and Change Model
.
Backues’s current focus is on ESG impact investing,
where ‘thick’ notions of
environmental, social, and governance factors are c
entral to authentic risk assessment and
responsible investment decisions. Backues has been
a university professor/academic for
last 15 years.
